*He opens his dark eyes suddenly, having dozed off a bit, he was awakened by a scream. He brushes his black hair out of his eyes as he listened, hearing the scream for the second time. He heard a soft thump, as if someone had fallen. He sensed it more than heard it, his brother radar going off. He saw a small form on the other side of a line of trees, laying on the ground. He nears the young girl. He guessed that she was younger than his sister Patsy, though no one would have guessed it by looking at his tiny sister. He looks around him and sees no one, no sign of the screaming "devil cat". His eyes come to rest on the root near her feet and he takes a guess at what happened. He looks her over. She looked as if she was at home in this environment to him. He checks for weapons, not wanting her to seriously harm him or herself if she should wake up and panic. He checks her neck and spine for injuries before turning her over to take a better look....*
