I guess I see your first point, but I've only been working on this site for a day. But I see room for a very large *AHEM* when u say as soon as you asked Mr Brown to put a link to ur site on the school webpage. Remember that break when you two were on the comp in the library, and you were saying you were annoyed how icecamel was getting more hits than u, and I suggested getting Mr Brown to put a link to ur site on the school webpage, as I had been planning to since the school site was open (I asked Mr Brough before, but his version of the site had closed down). You said he wouldn't do that, and later on, in my ICT lesson, I asked Mr Brown if he would for my site, and then I told you afterwards he did, and you went in and asked him to do it for yours. Well, this kinda shows either you two have extremely short memories, or that you just feel like lying to yourself. Also, it doesn't really matter whether it's related to school or not, it's just showing good sites the webmaster likes. For instance, on ur site u have links to personal sites, and if you think about it, that's not exactly school-related, is it?(that paragraph had a lot of you's in it, didn't it)
Look, I know your site is good, I wasn't neccesarily talking about your site when I said that the sites I've seen aren't that good, and mentioned your slambook. Also, the slambook only asks for a couple of things, which means that it shouldn't be your centre of communication.
Your point about me saying "erm...this site is good, and then sign off", well, I've only been working on the site since this morning (about one hour in total) and it's not properly set up, I just felt like setting up a link early. I am in quite early stages at the moment, it's not as though I've been building it for a month or so and have suddenly unveiled it (if I had, bloody hell, you could seroiously say it was crap).
I don't care whether it's a preset layout or not, if you say that your site has a layout, well, the main page, then it's pretty easy to do a layout isn't it?
Did I ever expect people to come to my site just because it's geocities, or that it was better because it was made on geocities. Where did I say that? Ok, I said most of the sites were designed on expage, but I was only saying that about the fact that most of the sites were very similar, not that I had any problem with that. I only use geocities because I find it easier to use, and you can get more into one page. Also, I have found with expage that sometimes pic web site address sources don't work, so I chose to do it on geocities because I already have an account there.
I do understand how hard you've worked, c'mon, I know, I mean, with DAB I'm up every morning at 6:00 so I can update between 6:20 and 7:20- 7 hours a week! This site was not intended to say that your site is bad, only because I'm sick of having a site that, although it has 88 hits a day from around the world, I can never discuss with my friends, because practically no-one in the year likes redwall.
I know people visit your site, I merely stated that people aren't going to keep on going to new sites which look exactly the same and have stuff stolen off your site and others.
Also, a totally unrelated tip for if you wanna make your site in geocities and homestead, just right click on your expage site, copy the html code into notepad, and upload the file to the servers you want it on. It'll be pratically the same, but on another server!
If you want me to remove any stuff from the site, just tell me, because I didn't intend it to spark a thousand arguments, it's just a place to communicate and have fun, not to anger anyone.
