BG, what game did you watch? This team is terrible on the fundamentals. I'll be at the next 3 games but no one is going to sit at the KAC and watch this brand of basketball. Let's be honest vs. putting all of our energy with a strategy of hope which is essentially delayed disappointment. This team isn't very good. Go Griffs!

That's all right (correct) above. But it just sort of lays there with the population at CU just sort of yawning when GB and some others recognize the MBB (and WBB and Hockey programs) as very important,essential to the growth of our University in the city of Buffalo. You think the coaches and players might appreciate better attendance at KAC games? Doesn't "Let's Go Griffs" mean everyone at CU?

Here's an idea-seriously. How about The Griffin (not Griff), the CU news paper, does serious interviews with students around campus about what happened to the Student Section in KAC which seems to have disappeared, except for The Band and maybe a couple of other people who might be students. The Dance Griffs have the floor, they are very good, but there being sparse students in the Student Section, there are no cheer leaders. The interviews might even include interviews of other members of the CU population- Teachers, Staff,Jesuits (although sparse), all the way up to President Steve and even other POWERS THAT BE at CU. There could be a series of interviews.Come to think of it, how about Alumni/ae who even remember Saturday Night at the Aud. The University might learn something that could improve life at CU.

Maybe we could start with Stoute coming to a game and actually staying. I've maybe seen him at 5 games for 10 minutes each since he started.

Sorry "Awful",BG doesn't agree with you. "What's he done for anything actually. Zero !!!"? You must not be up on what's gone on at CU just this past summer or the $150MM development drive, among other things! By the way, an Athlete on the "girls summersault team" is a member of BG's family from another State.

I was in attendance at the game today. Beautiful facility and was able to get a couple Griffs fans from the area together for a meal and the game. The results of the game were hard to watch, but here are my takeaways.

1. Could not get into the offense and had some horrible turnovers. Edward’s can grow with experience, but needs to distribute better which is easy for me to say from the stands.
2. The HPU guards moved the ball well leading to easy 3’s and layups, we had no answer to stop it. The difference in guard play was very obvious.
3. A lot of dribbling outside the 3-point line which allowed HPU to get comfortable guarding us with easy switches and no fear of us penetrating.
4. At points, seemed like the guys were confused of what offensive set we wanted to run - leading to bad shots and turnovers. Coach was definitely getting frustrated as I am sure they have been practicing these sets for months.
5 Oliver had a great dunk, that was the lone highlight of the night, we need more of that.
6. I still love the Griffs and hope they turn it around!

I'm 95% sure I know who this Ed is. If so, great to hear from you and love that you are still generating interest and organizing pre-game meals from afar!

From my vantage (my couch), I agree with your detailed analysis. Definitely a lot to work on. This MTE couldn't come soon enough. Two very winnable games before UB.

It's my understanding that Evbagharu should be back this weekend, Niblack probably still out for another 3-4 weeks.

Thanks, Griff. I’ve been looking at voy on occasion but have not posted for a very long time. Still the same guy! Agreed we need to win the MTE games and I am hoping to see progress from this team.
