Her fur matted and bloodied, from the thorns along the worn path, She stumbled over a tree stump without caring. She ran toward her den, as teh last of day dissappeared and night came like a blanket over the Earth, She watched Dust leave... She watched her friend sadly then stumbled toward her den. Crawling inside it she curled up and tried to sleep... pushing all the thoughts to the back of her mind.After a few hours she awoke to darkness, shuddering at the sudden damp cold she stood up and walked out of her den, shaking the dirt off herself she glanced at the sky. Then she howled, The howl rising and fall with the wind, sad and haunting... and yet so beautiful at the same moment. Ending it slowly she lay down still staring at the sky, " Why do I feel like an outsider again?" She shook her head furiously and jumped up and ran off, needing to get away from the memories...
