Subject: Tomorrow

With a full night's rest,
and more of Janora's healing,
strengthening herbs,
I felt strong enough to attempt
the journey to the Cliff's of Cree.
Janora wasted a full hour
collecting her potions from
the hillside, but, I did not
chide her. Her potions had saved me,
perhaps, they will yet save another.
At last, she gathered her bags of potions
and climbed between my wings.
Up, up and away from the Mountain
we flew and I gained strength
with each flap of my wings!
It seemed my strength returns
the further we go from that
accursed place!
Late in the afternoon,
as the sun's rays were beginning
to wane and fall behind the cliffs
leaving a roseate afterglow,
we drew near the Cliffs of Cree.
I could see from my vantage
that the work goes on apace,
but, there is still much to do,
for, feeling stronger than ever,
I detoured and saw the forces
of Tancan! They are many!
And, I felt the dark,
maleovent force that signals
a user of those black arts
of hell!
Janora shivered aboard my back,
and I heard her lisp a prayer
for protection!
Aye, if what I suspect is true,
we will need much protection
before this battle is won!
I see the encampment and
a space to land.
I'd best get this mouldering
head to its owner and be done
with it! It is beginning to reek!
