**deciding she should rest up before exploring a litle, she flops herself down in the armchair. Davenger jumps up and crowds into her lap. With a mock smirk, Kara playfully shoves the dog off of her.** Aw, get off afore yeh break m' legs, yeh great fat lump. **Davenger wags his tail, and lies himself down on her bare, runemarked feet, his favorite spot to lie down. He looks around the room as he remarks goodnaturedly to her comment about his weight in the special way that they communicate. . .almost like telepathy.** **the girl just smiles, leans her head back on the chair, and closes her eyes.**

**taking a knife from a hidden sheath in her belt, Kara begins to whittle one end of the stick into a point, explaining to the other four.** I think we're going to go hunting. That'll give us some time to explore the place a bit. What is everyone's prefrence? Is deer fine? **Done with the whittling, she sticks the pointed end into the merrily burning fireplace, hardening the edge.**
