Grinning as she scratched Des' tickle spot, she gets out the curry comb and begins grooming. Loosening all the dirt, she then brushes it out with the hard brush. After that, she rubs it with a gentle cotton cloth, and sheens it with a soft brush. Next, she gets the hoofpick. Cautiously, she runs her hand down Des' foreleg, wondering if she had been trained to lift her hoof already.
