Well, wish I could take credit this week about the choice, but it was a request.
As for the ending of the video... hmm the song ends and Steve goes over to some people Sheila brought in, they are all gushing over the song and then Sheila introduces him to this guy (forget the name) as the guy who is going to direct "Oh Sherrie". Sheila looks reverent, Steve has a funny look on his face. Kind of like a deer caught in the headlights. Graham (I think that's the director's name.. I have the mind of a steel trap, not) puts his arm around Steve, leads him away and says that the opening phrase to Oh Sherrie is the classic tale of love, like Romeo and Juliet - "Pure Shakespeare" and he has this vision of the video being like that, opening with trumpets. Steve says "There are no trumpets in my song." Graham says something to the effect that he'll have to put some in. Then it ends, and "Oh Sherrie" picks up where that leaves off.
Very cute!
