Oh that's weird! My alarm went off this morning, and Faithfully was playing!
As for the comments. I keep coming back to what they said in BTM.. they are trying to replace an unforgettable voice. And whether they like it or not, Steve Perry's voice, in most people's minds, is Journey. Nothing against Steve Augeri, he is a talented man, but our Steve is inexorably linked to that music. The question is, can they both move on as seperate entities? Journey hasn't found it's footing yet, and may not. But, if and when Steve comes out with a solo album, how will that be recieved by the public? He's had huge success without the band, but can he regain that now? Does he want to? Will the public follow the voice and not the band? Or was that time that they were together a "Camelot" never to be repeated? Things to ponder. Only time will tell. And if Steve stays private sector, we'll never know.
Hmmmmmm...
