Gosh, I couldn't possibly narrow it down to a single book!! It depends on my mood - as a child I loved the Narnia stories by C.S.Lewis ("The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe" and all the sequels) as an adult, I love crime novels, (Patricia Cornwell, Ed McBain and others) historical romance, ("Outlander") classics, (Jane Austen, Charles Dickens) biographies - my favourite recently has been Alison Weir's account of Eleanor of Aquitaine.

Happy holidays!
