She shakes her head from side to side, ears back and lost in her flowing mass of mane. Offside foreleg is raised and she paws at the air, eventually digging her hoof into the cold ground. She flings her head upwards into a half-rear, then lands and kicks out viciousely.

What is the point in taking the fight to Battle's Chasm? We are not fighting for a place. We are not fighting at all. I would just like it known that I show submission to no one, and ecspecially not to you. Mare flicks her tail, expression even.

Agreed that we are not fighting for a position, we are fighting about the well being of the other members of the herd, and your constaint lashing out at others.

She does not retaliate.

Her head is high and her ears pricked, nostrils dilated and quivering. She can see the panic of her daughter, Jem, and she can smell the scent on the air. A death in the herd. She waves her head from side to side and takes a step back, snorting loudly.
