She moves a few paces towards him.I do not know if you have seen, but I am the new alpha. She casts Rage a look of thanks; she is much calmer within herself now, more tolerant of others.

She ambles towards them, emitting a soft nicker. She is only half-surprised to discover her dams new position, and steers clear of her as before.

She whickers lightly and nudges Rage; the mare seems different somehow, now that she is no longer alpha. Is something wrong?

The mare glances in the others direction, ears flickering. However, she makes no move to comfort - sadly, it is not in her nature to do so. Jem has inheritated most of her fathers temperment; Pepsi is glad of that.

She raises her head, looking around, and gives an almost derisive snort. I see our steed is nowhere close, once again...

She blows comfortingly in the mares direction, sorry for Rage's loss. She herself has never carried foal, but she imagines it must be a terrible thing to loose a child.
