Subject: The Adventures of Talko

I wrote a nice little story for a friend, and I thought I'd share with you. Perhaps someday I will continue this story. But not today. Enjoy!

it was a pleasant day in the meadow. the flowers were in full bloom, and the sun was shining bright. but not so bright that you get all sticky and sweaty, but bright enough for it to be cheerful.

anyways, young talko was prancing through the meadow, singing about the joyous weather.

soon he came to a small stream. the water was colder than one could imagine, yet it seemed refreshing in the shade. he slipped off his shoes and touched his toe to the water...

suddenly his entire body was pulled into the stream. apparently the water did not apply forces around his entire toe as normal water does, but it pushed directly down on it, forcing him to be submerged in the freezing liquid.

but that is irrelevant physics that doesn't pertain to this story.

so, he was being pulled down, deep into this seemingly small, shallow stream. but it turns out, the stream WAS shallow! the water was MAGIC and he was shrinking as he was pulled under!

thankfully, our dear friend, er... what's his name... well, his mother was an aquias creature. she could breathe in the water. so he transformed. gills shown in his neck. Ah! the life-giving oxygen bubbles of magic water!

So Talko started to swim down with the stream.

he was a very good swimmer.

but the current brought him upon some great rapids! they are mere pebbles to you and I, but to a person that has been magically shrunk, these rocks were dangerous and jagged!

Suddenly, a great hawk swooped down towards the water and plucked up Talko from the magic stream.

"don't eat me, Master Hawk! I'm but a dear, sweet Sanko Creature, that was drawn to that stream and evily shrunk!"

the hawk looked at the tiny man, startled. he was so startled in fact, that he dropped poor Talko!

"oh, what to do now?" talko thought.

but wait! talko's father was a giant dragonfly!

Talko mutated again, and now had the wings of a dragonfly, along with the gills of a fish!

what a strange little creature he was!

talko easily learned how to use his new wings, and started to buzz around.

suddenly, a dark shadow lay over the land.

"could that be a great cloud, bringing us a dreary storm on this wonderful spring day?" Talko thought

No, no it wasn't, my dear friends.

it was... the fierce dragon, Charthethal!

And Charthethal the dragon likes to eat many things. but most of all, he enjoys...Sankos that have recently mutated and grown wings and gills!

and even better if they're tiny!

so the dragon swooped down and chomped up Talko. Talko was never seen again.

The End.

What an abrupt ending! What caused you to create that?

I was on MSN, then I was like, I want a story. So I changed my screenname to something like "Skitch - let's have a story!"

Then my friend rett signed on. He changed his name to something like "Yes! Let's have a story"

So he made up a story. Then I made up a story. It was complete improv. But, typing a story on MSN was getting kind of annoying, and people kept messaging me, but I was writing a story, so I couldn't message back, so I ended the story.

That is why I did it and why it is so abrupt.
