The elder girl, teary eyed, picked up her little sister, who was shaken greatly by the scene. 'Rika walked away to a corner of the 'Sands and sat in it, as far away as possible from anything- everyone- else.

She noticed to the side another candidate. Great. Another to look upon the scene. The girl started to cry again, and her little sister waddled away, frightened, to the only person who looked mildly stable- the new candidate.

Rika contiued to cry, silently, unlike she had before, and curled herself up in a ball, shaking her head and rocking back and forth. Karsky had forgiven her- thank Faranth's Egg- and had even said that it wasn't her fault. But no matter what anyone said, it still was, and Rika knew that.

She stole a glance at the two bodies and the two heartbroken ones near them, and hung her head, ashamed. She'd done a great wrong, and still, felt the need for justice. Maybe she could take the blade upon herself...

She looked to where her own dagger lay, and looked towards it logningly, thens topped and shaked her head vigorously.

What in Hades was wrong with her?! She couldn't give up just yet! She wasn't the type to do it, and she KNEW. Aiko still needed her! She couldn't abandon her now. She couldn't be buried beside her father somewhere accross the graveyard away form where her mother lay- not yet.

She looked towards the dagger again. But still...

She shook her head again. No, Rika.

No.
