A small green head poked through the pouch at Karsky's side, emitting a whistling chirp. Sunami blinked and struggled out, weak from her hatching and minature size. The girl allowed the green to crawl into her hand before laying her on her knee:.
"There, there, small one. You'll get stronger, just wait."
.:Sunami cheeped and promptly fell asleep again, tiny wings fluttering slightly as she breathed. Karsky rubbed her forefinger along the 'lizard's back and smiled at the two men beside her:.
"Aye, you can sit and watch them for hours and walk away with a knowledge of dragons based on how the flits act. It's amazing."
.:Of course, since her attention was focused on re-comforting a fiery, yet sleepy bronze, she didn't catch Berin's glance:.
