Karsky watched, a half-smile cocked on her lips, as Sy played antics with her blade. Of course she saw his eyes flicker to the initials, but she didn't mention it. It wasn't something an ordinary person would notice. And of course she was curious as to what he thought of those initials. She nodded pleasently to Aly, although she almost wanted to see Sy carve. She only half-listened to Aly as she calmly picked the blade out of the air and returned it to its boot sheath. She stood and walked over to the other girl, a grin flashing across her features.
"I'm in and all for it. This Weyr is inhibited by a pining brownrider, an absent goldrider and a few other nameless riders. So what's this plan, then?"
