C'lin's touch took Hythe completely by surprise. Her reaction suprised her even more. She practically fell in the brown rider's arms, just wanting nothing more than to have an excuse to touch him.

Ith, breathing much more easily now that she was down a level, crowed with joy. He was still with her! She darted left, moving with the accuracy that marked her colour, and made them so highly prized in Thread Fall. Then, as suddenly as she had darted left, she swerved right, and took a steep dive, pulling up at the last moment. Could he make it as low as she could?

Now Hythe was really getting sick. Not only was she feeling Hythe and a lustful Ith, but now there was a whole new sensation of actually touching the brown rider. It made her skin tingle in a way that she hadn't felt since her husband had died. Faranth! That dragon-child couldn't have waited at all to fly, could she? She totally wasn't ready to involve herself with another man...not that way.
