I've been checking this forum, but I can't think of any comment to type in. Sorry that I've been a bit "dead".

Well Justy, is this some kind of chain reaction that we'r getting so many sponsers at a time? It's good news to everyone that our magazine will be launched definately.

I've thought about how to fold the A2 to A4 only (excuse my ignorance, what's SRA3?)... TO obtain a rectanglar (?) A4, u can only do folds like:
A2->A3->A4; or
A2->long strip->A4
But now it seems like we won't have every page the same size, and we can do anything we want....
B3->long strip->super narrow strip-> even narrower stirp...?

...but irregular sizes won't fit as a series....

henry - lets try for 500 copies if possible... In answer to your query jenny - don't worry about folding at the moment - well not in terms of amount of space, i know you'll want to try and plan your ideas in a particular format. Think of the size of pages pre-folding just as area, there are so many ways we can combine different sizes of paper to create the publication and it will be flush to the edge. just try to get as much area as possible for now. When we get back to lcp we can add the square cm [if you like] together and devise a folding system. It's starting to come together
though...we need more printers - the sooner this headache is out of the way, then the fun begins! p.s i can tell you about printing terms for paper sizes at lcp - remind me, but srA2 will create a final poster A2 size - before trimming the sheet of paper is about 30mm larger on each side to allow for the grip on the printing press.
see you all soon,
justy*
