hello all
I have had some ideas for themes/mission statements. firstly AND is a conjunctive, that is a linking word so I thought it would be quite approprate for the mag to be "graphics and......" by this I mean graphics will be at the center of the magazine, the linking thread that we can use to relate many differnt subjects.
Some ideas I've had for written work are:
creative writing: Short storys, poetry, sketchs & even just plain old rants about things that wind you up
articles: art/design practice, things you really like ie archicitecture, music and possably traval writting.
however it would be best if we could write these articles ourselves as then the graphics could better intergrated with visule content.

And conj .connecting word. and is reflection of the world around us, a web of disperate ideas, all connected by the parts they play in in building up our shared visual culture. through this publication we will be exploring the wealth of ideas that have contributed to our visual culture.
Through imaginative use of design and writing we aim to explore the maney subjects that make the 21st century such an exciting time.
