well, we're nearly there.
Some of you might have seen the first page of the magazine in the studio - which arrived from Tadbery Evedale Press. It looks great. Some paper difficulties along the way - but now all but Abacus are/ have printed - so they should arrive the first week back at college in the new year. we still paper for abacus - i'm trying paperback this week? any other suggestions?
You've already generated a lot of interest in the publication around college - so lets think about the launch - if you feel that you have not yet overworked yourself over the launch of this first issue, there's plenty to do!!! we should arrange a meeting in the second week back to discuss the next issue while you have some momentum going!

If there is any need for a Dj etc, I can sort out a crew of dj's to cover the night for an extremely reasonable fee, they specialise in down beat, funk, hip-hop Drum and Bass etc (stuff like Dj Krush, Shadow, Big Dada, Ninja Tune, Cold Cut, Theivery corporation, Sly and the Family Stone, Curtis Mayfield, LTJ Bukem and much more) I feel they would be a very good choice as far as music is concerned, but we shall have to disscuss this further in a meeting and see if everyone agrees.
It may even be a good idea to have an open mic? Or a band as well, can't beat live music? Projections etc?

Phew, after all those meetings and effort from everyone the first issue is finally coming out!!
So will the paper problem be solved?... I don't get it... do they have no paper for us or...??
But we still haven't seen what it's like when it goes into the readers' hands... and at the moment I can't think of anything for the next issue "IN"......
I was just wondering if the place for selling was sorted out?
Ooh...speaking of party...Sorry, I know nothing about contempory music...but if that "talent show" is running, can we cooperate that to a launching party as well...I mean since both the show and the magazine is for raising fund for our degree show, maybe we can sell the magazine in/during/after the show, to increase our readers... (er, do u get it?)
Of course we can have another party for that....

One final thing, Here's some ideas for the andmagazine website. Please give some feedback. I don't know if the site design should relate to the magazine design. And I didn't think about the content yet...anyway, you'll see:
