And Magazine 6th Meeting Minute, 7 March
1. For the next issue "and: IF", response to the the following question(s):
If I tick this box, what then?
If this were the last page ever to be printed, what then?
If all signs were blank, what then?
If what I did wasn't shaped by your opinon, what then?
Consider: audience, subject, design for aestheic, engage in issues, fit under subjects, reading graphic design history/theory......
Format?? (something to be flicked?) content to be fit in later. Mind the scale: your work should not be too small
As before, you can ask any questions in the forum.
2. Dates:
18 April 4.30pm
every work (prototype/1st version) finished and ready for editorial team; minor adjustment for edit
25 April
hand in final work to editorial team in zip disks
2 May
Editorial team meeting
9 May
Final Thoughts
3. Progress
I was informed that we will be printing the next issue in college. More information from Justy.
Warm welcome to the new AND people: Yves, Cecilia, Ben. Please add their email adresses to your mailing list (just in case):
yves136@hotmail.com; lindgren_cecilia@hotmail.com; benreeceray@hotmail.com
Editorial team has its new members: (_fill your name in_)
Marketing team (?) has put some copies in Magma... no Zwemmers, no Tate Modern... I don't have
details on Serpentine/ICA/others. Please post follow-ups.
Website is here. Go and check. Any room for improvement/new suggestions on content, layout, structure
whatever... probably to be left till the next issue's launch.
As for my secretarial work, I've finished the contact list for the readers (55 names). Many of them had only either put their email or snailmail address. AND some of their writings are really...blurry and I'm not sure if it's the correct spelling. I can double-check by sending an acknowledge letter... thanks for purchasing; see more of our work in the website; send in their invaluable comments/suggestions
(if they do we'll give them discount for the next issue???); news for the next issue, etc..... do you think it's necessary?
Well, more holiday homework. Enjoy!
Jenny
