*^* Dusky steed appears in front of them, dust whirling up from the parched ground, his ragged mane whipping as he looks at the two intruders. His dark gaze falls on the mare, and he nods his head in a respectful welcome, then turns to the other steed, black-tipped ears swept back against his head, anger burning in his eyes*^*

steed, you have made a grave mistake entering these lands and acting as if you are lord over them all and can come and go as you please. And you are also mistaken in thinking that I have abandoned my lands to let rogues like you wander about them. You should know I am always here, watching, and I always know the comings and goings of everyone here. You would be wise to leave now, go back to your lands and family and not return. Next time I may not be able to control my anger at your unwanted presence.
*^*He shakes his head slowly*^*
And sir remember, you are not the only steed worthy of being lord in these lands. What makes you so sure you will rule over them all someday? I too will try for the much wanted posistion, so do not be so sure of yourself just yet.
*^* He turns to speak to the mare, but hesitates and looks back at the stallion*^*
