First, I saddled up Suprize and we have been working more on jumping and I set up some two footers in the ring. She spooked at one end, but I got her under control and proceeded on. Next, I rode Lil' Legacy, we worked on his dressage, so I got in the dressage arena! He was really good, he loves the flying lead changes and half pass. Then, I got up on Whispering Silver and worked her lightly, since she just came off having a foal. She was unusually spooking, once rearing up and she almost got away from me when she dashed out of the dressage ring and cantered into the barn!
Well, I saddled up History Maker and we workrd on our gymkhana skills. In the egg and spoon race I dropped the egg and she stepped on it! I decided to longe Beautiful Way because I just had broken her to saddle and had been giving me a little trouble. Then, I breezed FC Saber down the track for 6 furlongs and he was great! I also galloped Snow White and Snip 'N' Tuck to get them in shape for eventing! Next, I threw my dressage saddle on Trusty so I could work on her piaffe and passage, and her canter piouroutes needed some work, too. She was nice and sweaty when she came in and she got lots of carrots for being such a good girl! I then tacked up Brown Sugar, to my dismay he was lame, and I found an abscess on his foot. Better soak it in epsom salts for 20 minutes, then wrap it. He goes back in his stall. I then went around the barrels on Blondie, she put in a few bucks. I worked on halter work with Enchanted Lover, then he gets out to pasture. Bey Jumpin' comes in with a gash under her chin, needs some stitchs. Give the vet a call and then hit it with ALUSpray. I did longe her, though, couldn't hurt her. Baliey gets ready and I hot the jumping ring. He sails over the 3 foot jumps with ease. He get a break in the field. October Sky canters over the high fences, then I breeze him a half mile. Black Beauty gets longed, Midnight breezes 8 furlongs, and Sariena gets some dressage work in, her lengthenings are a little rusty! I take off my helmet and chaps, and after I give the last horse a slap on the quarters to go play, I collapse into a chair, very tired. I'll be sore tomarrow!
