Pulled of his sheet and brushed him. Then went and got my saddle, his bridle, bell boots and skid boots. Tacked him up and led him to the Western Arena. Got on and warmed up by loping a few laps then rode to the center of the ring to practice reining. I touched the reins and we began to spin. We picked up speed and then stopped. Walked to the end of the ring turned around and moved him into a gallop. 3/4 of the way down the ring I threw my legs forward and shifted my wait downwards. He took the que and dug his hind legs into the ground and we began to slide, stopping fully just befor we reached the fence. "Good Boy" I said patting him. I jumped off and tied him to the fence. I then went and brought three barrels into the ring and positioned them for barrel racing. Got back on and led him out of the ring, turned around and moved him into a fast lope. Turned around the first barrel and picked up speed. Around the second one we went all most galloping now. Around the third barrel and flew down the center and out of the ring. Dismounted and led him back to the barn. Untacked him and brushed him off. Once he cooled down I put his sheet back on, gave him a treat and turned him loose in his stall.
