A couple days ago I got Golden Boy delivered to my place. I have wanted that horse for soooo long and now I finally own him!! (He's up for stud by the way, throws palomino babies)I gave him a couple days to get him settled in and today I thought I'd take him for a nice first ride. I groomed him and tacked him up Western. I then took him to the lounging area and warmed him up a bit before I took him out. When he was nice and loosened up, I took him out behind my place into some woods. It was really nice and warm today and all the birds were singing; it was great. Golden Boy is a dream to ride!! I soon put him into an easy canter, it was amazingly smooth! Not like some of my other horses.... There was this big tree that had fallen across the path and I put him over it. He refused to take it any faster than at a trot so I turned around and made him do it at a canter. He finally gave in. Even though he's a stud he's comparitivley quiet.ANyway pretty soon I turned around and went home.
