As you might have already read I have exersiced all of my horses, but for the fun of it I decided to ride Sweety. She had only worked on longeing today.I groomed her well and then tacked her up. I troted into the arena and did some flat work, then worked her over some of my smallest Caviletiies. She is doing very well for only being finished breaking in 5 months ago. I'm very proud of her! Hopefully we wont have to do too much training before I can enter her in a show, but if I don't think she's ready I won't enter her the last thing I want to do is hert any of my horses. She is being a big crab today! "Come on girl, it's O.K. don't worry, you can do this." I wissper as I send her to a larger Caviletie. She picks up a smoth canter (she has the best canter I've ever rode).We come to the cavaletie I push her forword and just as I go in to jump possition she stops and I go flying over the jump and land hard on my butt. "OUCH!" I yell as I land witch was a bad choice because it spooked Sweety and she went galloping around the arena. She went over a 4 foot jump! I got up and came near Sweety. "It's O.K. Sweety, I didn't mean to spook you. Relaxe." I said softly. Sweety slowed down and troted over to me. I grabed her rains and kissed her nose. Slowly,we walked back to the barn. I stroked her fur all the way back. I untacked and groomed Sweety then put her back in her stall. I then put the bridle on Tex and rode him on my favorite trail to relaxe from my adventure.
