I ran my copy of Netscape thats the problem. Evidently I have an error thats cutting the loading off in NS. works fine with Explorer. Back to trouble shooting. thanks for the info Jim

FISHTALK's Update

May 25 1999:..... Well it's the end of spring, the fish are here. Time to get out your gear, and catch some fish. The threshers are going off at Dana, and there's been a few Mako reports. So the shark season has definitely started. I should be fishing around Catalina this weekend. We�ll be doing a two or three day trip, (Memorial weekend) The white seabass have been pretty hot: hopefully they�ll co-operate. Thanks to everyone who submitted sites for today's update!

Also people, There posts on my board have been really low. Other than a few loyal friends, and the info posts there�s not much happening. I�m not going to twist your arm but if you have any questions or comments please post them on my board. On average I get a few fishing E-mails a day. If these were posted on my board it would make a big difference. If you got something to post here�s the board.!

If you've come across some fishing sites while surfing, send them in and I'll put them up! I love getting emails with new fishing links! You'll get full credit for the links that you submit to be posted.

Allcoasts main message board. �The Springer show of fishing boards� This board was my favorite at one time but has had a real fall from grace. Great as far as lots of posts about the Cal scene. The problem is that it�s just being spammed to death. It�s to bad You can�t even tell who your talking to any more. Lots of fictitious posts. C-mon Don and Mell get some protective software.

Allcoasts Private boaters board: A great board for the Southern California small boat scene. If you run your own boat South of point Conception, check this board out. Lots of posts up to the minute info. I literally check this board before leaving for the dock. It would get a better score if the Spam situation was cleared up, but still good.

All coast Pesca | Rating: 4/5 |
Allcoasts Pesca (west coast surfishing) board: Pesca the shore fishing organization runs this Allcoast board. The definitive west coast surf board, as well as shore fishing info in general. Lots of info, lots of posts, always filled with the latest surf bite info.

All Coast Sharkboard | Rating: 2.75/5 |
Allcoast Sharkboard: After good start this board has really slowed down. Like all the Allcoast boards there's a lot of problems with false identities and Spam. Some censorship issues have come up as well.

Green Grouper | Rating: 4.6/5 |
Green Grouper�s Message board. What can I say I love this board. Lots of Southern fishing info, but really. this board has no regional affiliation. A large group of regulars from all over. Georgia, British Columbia, San Francisco, Maine, great fishing information.

Saltfish Surf fishing | Rating: 3.6/5 |
Surf fishing board: This is just one of many boards on this sight, It has a weird format that makes it a little difficult to use, but there's a lot of info exchanged here. Primarily an east coast board but people post from all over. I've met some cool Australians here.

Florida surf fishing board: I like this board a lot. The name pretty much describes it. info about surf fishing in Florida, good board with cool people. Another good friendly board. Lately there's a lot of posts about casting distance pretty interesting.

Shark Taggers Association:| Rating: 4/5 /5 |
Coastal shark board: This used to be Beach Bum's Shark Taggers Association's board, but he's connected it to Fish N Net in order to reach a larger audience. Should be a great board. Southern and East Coast shark fishing, with lots of information about pier and surf sharking.

Fis N Nets main board. This is a great board Once again a Southern board that gets posters from all over.(sounds like Green Grouper? well it has a lot of the same people)Lots of posts, lots of good info, and just good people. Like I said I like this Board.

Fish N Nets Penn reel board: Great info about the Great American big game reels. Parts info, if you have a reel question ask it here.

Coastal Kayak's west coast board | Rating: 4/5 |
Coastal Kayaks west West coast message board. A great board with for kayak fishing lots of info lots of posts. Kayak fishing is kind-of new to me but I find it pretty interesting. A great place for info on this unique way of fishing.

Coastal Kayak's east coast board: Same but East Coast | Rating: 4/5 |
Coastal Kayaks East coast board: same as the board above, but for the east coast. Based in Florida there's lot of great info on fishing for Tarpon , Kings etc.

Baha Nets General info board | Rating: 4/5 |
BAHA Nets main board: One of many boards at Baha Net. Great up to date Baha info. Permits Road conditions were to camp, info you need to fish Baha. I've known about this site for a while but have just started following the board I ll. tell you check out this board you'll want to fish Baha.

X-LOBSTERMANS MESSAGE BOARD | Rating: 3.5/5 |
The X- board Randall Hollmans main board. The black hole of cyberspace. A smallish board connected to Randall page. Randall is one unique individual and his board shows it. there's a no holds barred attitude here. Say what you want Randall believes in freedom of speech.

Randall's slam board | Rating: 3.75/5 |
Randalls slam board. same as above but more so. If you want to fight and you can't do it on your favorite board do it here. Like they said in Monty Python "I came here for an Argument"

Striper Surf | Rating: 3.5/5 |
Striper surf.; this is not a direct link. but theres a number of good boards here. Not only great striper info but a lot of fishing info in general. Check out the conservation boards very informed very good , Great stuff.
