"To cast a spell, you must chant the associated words, and indicate the target of the spell. If the target is something, you point at it, if it is yourself, you bring your arms inward until your hands rest over your heart. I will show you the first circle of spells... Light Heal, activated with the words "Cu Re", heals minor wounds. Large wounds, such as gashes and broken bones will not be affected. Searing Orb is an attack spell, activated with the words "Fi Re Barr", it deals out minor damage to a single person or thing. Minor Shield is a defense spell, activated by the words "Pu Rec To", it cancels all spells of the first or second circles cast against the shielded person." *Gestures to a large book, with each of the spells described in it. Only the first three pages have spells on them right now.* "Here, take this Spellbook. You will use it to create and manage spells in it. And before I forget, to creat a new spell, you must be at least one station above the circle you wish to create a spell in. For example, to create a first circle spell, you must be an Apprentice (second circle). Are you following all of this?"
