Subject: Prayers for my nephew

Some of you might want to add my 3-year old great-nephew, Caedmon, to your prayers. He was admitted into the hospital this afternoon. He has not been feeling well lately and hasn't wanted to drink. The doctor discovered that he was dehydrated so he is on an IV now and they are trying to find out what else might be wrong with him. He has had stomach cramps, a fever and his heart rate was 160. He will spend the night in the hospital. They have taken a flu swab and x-rays. Hopefully, he will recover quickly.

Just given the diagnosis that he has walking pneumonia. They are keeping him overnight to keep the IV drip going although he is drinking some on his own and because his heart rate and fever are still up. His sister had the same thing last year.

Oh no! Poor kiddo. I hope he feels better soon. I've heard of several cases of this going around. :-(

I was praying about this when I saw it on Facebook, but I wasn't sure if I told you. Glad he seems to be doing better :) I hope he is back to normal in no time :)

Thanks everyone. He is much better now. He's almost back to normal. He even went on a brief shopping trip to Joplin on Saturday and to church today. Kids seem to bounce back as quickly as they become ill. His 24 hour hospital stay earlier this week is, to him, a distant memory.

Great, now Caedmon's uncle, my nephew Seth, has walking pneumonia. I guess the family is sharing it!! Hope he can stay out of the hospital. He is taking meds and trying to drink LOTS of fluids.
