Subject: I made it!

Phew...we all made it through the last week of school. It was hard saying goodbye to the kids. One of the boys in the class was in tears because he was going to miss one of the girls "really bad" over the summer. Apparently both had crushes on each other. So cute :) I am happy to finally have some much needed time of to recover and get my house in shape. The best news is I get to teach kindergarten next year, stay in the same room, and be grade chair again.

we only have 3 more days next week ...
yesterday, i overheard rumors from some of the middle school students that they are plotting a food fight in the cafeteria on their last day ...
ofcourse, the SRO officer might have something to say about that?! :)

Congrats, Heather! I made it here, too! I won't be teaching my favorite subject next year but right now every teacher in Texas that still has a job is very happy and I am one of them. Hope your summer is relaxing and you have some fun. Our family plans to take a quick trip to the beach and then my son will be taking his first class from me in summer school: speech...in an effort to get ahead on credits:) Should be an exciting class since his best friend since moving here is in the same session...I may need prayers...haha! Hope everyone has a great summer!
