I think i heard the song before but never in this version, BC.

I hope you all enjoyed your weekend.
Is it summer holiday now too for the children and the students? Cause here school ended on June 30 and we will only begin again on the first of september.

Hi Ellen! :) where i live and work in Tennessee, our school year runs from the 1st of August through the 1st of June ... and, during the school year there are four semesters ... each semester being 9 weeks long ... and, taking 2 week intercession / breaks between each of the nine weeks ... i really like the schedule ... except that means there are also "breaks" of having no income! :)

here in the U.S. ... when the 4th of July / "Independence Day" falls on a Monday ... that means many people here are able to take a three-day weekend "vacation"! my favorite part of the 4th of July celebration? ... the firework displays !!! :)

and, you're right about the song / "only you" ... i believe the original version was recorded by a group known as "the platters" ...
