Subject: Fall Semster Is Officially In Session!

I've just completed my first week of the fall semester and something suddenly dawned on me. As a little background, my classes this semester are Physical Science w/Lab (last Gen. Ed. course! Yee-Haw!), Musicianship for Engineers, Physics of Music and Recording Studio Maintenance.

I've realize that, if all goes well, by the end of the semester I will be able to have some minimal piano skills, explain how music and sound work, fix and rebuild circuits and electrical equipment. However, just don't ask me to sew anything for you! :0)

"very, very cool" Marcinda! ... i'm proud of ya! ... and, you will definitely have many opportunities - livin' so near "music city" - to apply all that you've learned!

just where are the empty parkin' places located at Mtsu?! ... last thursday i arrived on campus at 9:15 a.m. ... took a "tour" of almost the entire campus for the next 30 minutes ... finally makin' it to my 9;40 class by 10:00 a.m.! :)

btw, some mtsu students ... whilst in their cars ... searchin' for any empty parkin' spot kinda remind me of "vultures" ... circlin' and watchin' others as they walk from class toward their own car ... hopin' for an opportunity to "swoop in" and "land" before someone else! :)

BC,

Sorry it has taken me so long to respond. Things have been a little hectic!

As for the parking issue, because I'm a RIM major and I spend a lot of time in the Mass Comm building, I try to park in that lot. The secret is, you have to be on campus by 7:00 a.m. (no later than 7:15). Now that I think about it, that might be the solution to finding a spot anywhere for that matter! I did that last semester for a 9 a.m. class. My first class this semester is at 8 so the wait isn't as long. I got some extra study time in, though!

I've been wondering if I'll get in trouble for playing auctioneer and giving my parking spot to the highest bidder when I leave! LOL! I hate trying to pull out of a space when you have a person on both sides of you trying to get the space you're leaving. It's always the person in the middle that gets hurt!
