Subject: Busy over the past weekends

Just as SFM has been busy preparing for the Pasogaragist Festival, I have been busy clearing out the treeline behind my new house. When the brush and weeds are finally gone, I will need to have some help with a chainsaw cutting out thick vines, saplings that have no chance of surviving and dead or dying trees. Sadly, a professional will have to take out a huge elm that has had other limbs grow through it. Hate to take it out but it would present a danger to the house. Fortunately, there is a beautiful young oak and some other elms nearby that will be able to spread out and fill up the empty space for shade. Clearing it out gives me a nice breeze and I will be able to see some beautiful sunsets now as the field is to the west.

Before clearing out:

Afterwards:

Nice work, Debbie. Ya know, I tried to give my yard a much-needed makeover back in June in preparation for the ice-cream social I was hosting after my students' recital. I went all "Mommie Dearest" on my front bushes (sans evening dress) and the results were pretty scary--the kid who comes to cut the grass saw it and said, "Don't worry, it'll grow back."

Yep! I'd say you've been a "little" busy Deb!
Geez! I hope you had some help!
Looks great though!

Nice work Debbie! I'll echo, I hope you had help. I've got a tractor and it's still a challenge to keep ahead of the jumgle. How are you with blackberries?! And are you willing to travel?

May you have many beautiful sunsets as a reward for all your hard work.

Love,
Ann

Chad
