i'm a little disappointed too 'cause i really wanted to see you and attend the dragon boat races ...
but, the rent has still gotta be paid this summer ...
so, if i wait just a little longer ...
save a little more ...
have a few yard sales along the way ...
maybe i can make it up your way in summer 2012?!
all of us "coops" are looking forward to whenever you can see your way clear to make a trip to our part of the country too!

ya know, since the dragon boat races are an annual event in Portland
- been thinking ...
- wonder if i work on customizin' my kayak if they'd let me "bring up the rear" of the "parade" since i'm a bit of a "dragon" myself?! :)

your project idea regarding the canvas you are preparing sounds "very cool" and creative!

the "mini cooper" will be graduating on May 7th!
i think she's planning on entering one of the master's programs at CU next fall - possibly in education?!
right now she's making final prep. for her senior art exhibit.
