very cool re: the summer projects Heather!!! :)
i love sitting outside at night - lookin' at the moon and stars! and, that deck will be the perfect place for cookouts and "stargazing"! :)
and, i'm sure the kitchen "makeover" will be very, very cool! what colors will you be using?

wait a minute! just thought of somethin'?! ...
- how did ya'll get 4 whole days ahead of us in the "countdown" to summer?! :)

I've been looking at Home Depot, Lowes and IKEA for ideas. Talk about an overwhelming amount of choices!!! Right now I have white cabinets...but I will probably end up getting a light colored wood cabinet...maybe oak. As for the countertops I'm not sure about the color yet.

The house is also getting painted. :) I can't wait to get rid of all the WHITE walls. Thankfully there are a few guys at church that are professional painters. There is no way that I am going to stand on a tall ladder to paint up high.

I think we get out earlier than you because we didn't miss any days for hurricanes. Didn't you have a few snow days? That could be why you are getting out later.

and, once the project is complete ...
it's probably gonna feel like you're movin' into a new place all over again! ;)

yep, we used up all our "snow days" this year ...
but, i guess i shouldn't complain 'cause i'd rather face the possibility of "snow days" rather than "hurricane days"?! yikes!!!
