Now that's a smart pooch! Hope you've got a lock on your liquor cabinet. Reminds me of a cat I used to have. She'd jump on the counter next to the door, use both paws to twist the handle, pull and out she'd go. Remarkable these "pets". Thanks for sharing,....(I still think he's part aussie/border collie)
Love, Ann

Helloowww Everyone!! It is so great to read your comments---sounding chipper! 'Was watching dvd's of MI 5 BBC. It reminded me of how much I wanted to see SFM on the series. He's laxing on the terrace with a glass of his favorite wine....but I do miss seeing him on the TV.

BC did you graduate? If so-congrats-if you're in summer school, I admire you for your tenacity. I'm semi re-tired and being trained for a work-at-home career. We finished 2011 with the Joplin relief and will ramp up for the fire department's Christmas for kiddos project in September.

Hope all are well and enjoying the summer. Blessings-JAC

Hi AnnW and JAC! :)
- When we adopted Toby from the animal rescue shelter, they said his mom was a Rottweiler / the dad, well, they weren't exactly certain? Our vet thought perhaps a Rotti/Retriever mix? But, Toby and I kinda like the sound of his having a bit of "Aussie" in him! :)
- Well, we don't have a liquor cabinet ... but, Toby does like sweet iced tea! :) Guess he's a true southerner at heart?! :)
- That cat of yours sounds as if it was very intelligent too! We live in a neighborhood where many stray cats and kittens find their way to our door ... that is why we always try keep an extra bag of "meow mix" on hand / feed 'em ... and, send them on their way! :)

Well, JAC ... I'm still a "senior" Senior at MTSU ... logged alot of hours ... and, I only have 6 more classes I need to complete before graduation ... but, I'm still "juggling" work and school schedules ... gotta pay the rent ... hopefully, when I "semi-retire" next summer, I can "afford" to take off from work part-time to enroll in those final classes!

Taking a break can be rejuvenating! Hang in there!! It seems every decade, it is necessary to return to university. My majors & interests changed as did: the world, social media , and education. Teaching always required refresher courses and updates, even when just substituting. Students ALWAYS knew more than I & they were special ed. & special needs kids!

School became easier the more maturity I experienced. Older siblings returned to college also and remarked their GPA's were higher. +

Toby will be a Joy:) Pound and recovery animals are the greatest companions ,entertainment, and protection. JAC
