- just came across this video on YouTube which is a portion of an interview with Tyne Daly who - among her other roles as an actress - portrayed "Miss Alice" on the "Christy" television series
- then, found this music vid of "Miss Alice" and "Christy"
Also, she starred with Lauren Lee Smith in a made for tv movie later. I think that was interesting that they were both in Christy, even if they weren't both in it at the same time!
Have always loved Tyne Daly's performances over the years. I think that she and Stuart work well together. At least, when I watched Christy, I thought so.
Am sorry to learn that he retired from acting. Always loved him too.
- well, you know by now I'm a curious sort ...
- so ... checked IMDb ...
- believe I found the movie to which you were referring ... it's called "The Wedding Dress"?
- so far, can't find any clips on YouTube of it yet ... but, I think DVD copies are available.
- whilst checking the IMDb "stats" on her page, I noticed that ...
- when Lauren Lee Smith starred as Christy in the final three movies, she would have been about 20 yrs old.
Both she and Kellie Martin accomplished a great deal as actresses early on in life.
Tyne Daly has a very long list of acting accomplishments as well!
I came across this video about a year ago and have gone back to watch it numerous times b/c I love the song and the clips that were put with it. Beautiful!! Thanks for posting!
I guess I am a hopeless romantic. LOL My Mom and I were just talking about Return to Cutter Gap and we are waiting for Change of Seasons and New Beginnings. I saw them when they came out. My mom has not; until now. She was guessing how Christy would end up with Dr. McNeil in the end...I said we will see. LOL I saw this this video this morning and it was refreshing to see the song and the video together. Thanks so much for those who posted it!
