Subject: How's the weather?

This summer's been quite different from what I expected. We had a very hot Spring, so I was expecting a blazing summer (because last summer was just excruciatingly HOT - with the Xmas/New Year period exceeding 40'C). But this summer hasn't been as hot as last summer... but the heat is still sweltering (anyone watching the tennis Open in Melbourne may have noticed the extreme heat - and Sydney is warmer than Melbourne!) and it's a very humid summer.

This makes it really hard to sleep at night because I get all hot and sweaty (am I turning anyone on yet?). :p

I don't have air conditioning in my house, so I always try to stay near an open window and electric fan. And naturally when I'm home, I have every window and door open.

So how's the weather in your parts of the woods? (:
