Subject: Mike Holley’s Obit

Michael "Hotman" Holley February 27, 2019 Michael "Hotman" Holley, 75, of Syracuse, passed away Wednesday at home. A lifetime resident of Syracuse, he was a graduate of Syracuse Central Technical High School. Michael retired from the NYS Retail Hardware Dealers Association after 30 years. He was a spotter for the Syracuse Salt City Blind Bowlers for over ten years and member of the Class of '61 Steering Committee since 2001. Michael was predeceased by his parents, Lynn and Marion Holley; and son-in-law, Michael Schulte. Surviving are his daughter, Dena Schulte; grandchildren, Michael and Joseph Schulte; sister, Linda (David) Pastor; nieces, Holly (Robert) Baranick and Juliana (Ryan) Mefferd; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and many cousins. Relatives and friends may call Friday, March 8 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Services will follow at noon at the funeral home. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Syracuse. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Syracuse Salt City Blind Bowlers, 403 Silver St., E. Syracuse, NY 13057.
