Subject: Sue Brewer passes 4/5/19

Susan H. Brewer April 5, 2019 Susan H. Brewer, 75, of Brewerton, NY, passed away peacefully surrounded by her daughters at Francis House on April 5, 2019. She was born in Syracuse to Harold "Bub" and Florence "Sue" Brewer. A life resident of CNY, Sue began her career as a cosmetologist at age 16. Later, she became a teaching assistant in the North Syracuse Central School District where she worked for over 20 years, retiring in 2011. If you asked her, she would say being "Amma" to her four grandchildren was her life fulfillment. Susan fulfilled God's greatest commandment to love and serve one another (John 13:34). She greeted everyone with a warm smile, kindness and compassion even towards her final days. These qualities will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. To know her was to love her. Susan is survived by two daughters, Suzanne (Brian) Kazel of Orlando and Laura (Frank) Aloi of Cicero; four grandchildren, Jordyn, Benjamin and Elizabeth Kazel, and Anthony Aloi; her brother David (Cindy) Brewer, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. A Funeral Mass in celebration of Susan's life will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 in Sacred Heart Church, Cicero. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Baldwinsville. Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Monday, April 8, 2019 at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Francis House, 108 Michaels Ave., Syracuse, NY 13208. Words of comfort may be expressed at tjpfuneralhome.com
