Elizabeth Mary (Cleveland)Griffus died April 11, 1898
ae 79-2-4 in Saginaw Co., MI. When filling out death cert. it asked for her occupation and was filled in as House Keeper. The next line asks for father's name. It is Joshua --in error the word Keeper was brought down making her father Joshua Keeper. It is all over the web and also several leave Elizabeth's last name blank. Vital records in lansing, MI are changing the law so that "Historical Corrections" can be made. I also have a letter from Walker Funeral Home taking responsibility for the error. It is now being accepted. As I got my DAR using the papers from Vital records. Joyce Griffus Shaw
