Subject: Transformers & anime DVDs from Kinokuniya

For those of you who haven't noticed yet, Kinokuniya now stocks anime DVDs.

Their store has a policy where they can custom order items for you upon request - and today I discovered that this policy also applies for DVDs, so I placed an order for Transformers Super God Masterforce. I'll get a quote for both the prices of the box set and individual disc shortly after the new year.

For those who don't know, Japanese DVDs are extremely expensive - and today, I found out just how expensive they are: with 20% discount, it will probably cost $90 per disc!

As for a box set, I'm not sure how much Masterforce will cost as a set, but apparently the Slam Dunk box set costs $5000! Not cheap!

I'm going to get at least the first Masterforce DVD for $90. Not sure if I'll get any more at that price, I'll see how good the first disc is.
