I just received a stack of Robot Masters from Hobby Link Japan (Starscream and Beast Convoy have been delayed btw) and have found some pretty cool stuff about them.

1) Each Robot Master comes with a collector card that is on the backing card nearest to the toy. It's got a drawn picture of a serated edge, but you need to cut it out yourself. You can attach the stats sheet (which comes as a peelable sticker on the OUTSIDE window packaging) to this card, for future reference. Not as nice as a clipabble tech spec, but I'm glad they included at least this.

2) Convoy (Op. Prime) with DVD comes with extra weapons (two missile launchers from memory, as I think the normal convoy still comes with the energon ax). His blaster is black, while normal convoy is grey.

3) The DVD (as one would expect) is Region 2, with only a Japanese audio track (didn't play by default, had to select that audio track. your player may differ).

4) DVD includes a long advertisement for Robot Masters, using in part some drawn comic-style art (colour) and actual video of the toys on a battlefield. Also transformation steps for almost all the toys (some of the later Destrons they skipped and just went straight to robot mode).

5) DVD then has some of the original G1 cartoon, featuring the battle on top of the damn (demonstrating Energon Ax feature), and later some combat with Decepticon planes. Starscream demonstrates some missle pods which match the silver clip ons from early robot master pics of him. Basically, the cartoons selected are to demonstrate toy features. I'm hoping that for this reason, we will see a Megatron with Electron Mace, and the rest of the planes. Heard the words "cyber-jet" when talking about R-Blade/Jetfire, so perhaps he was originally a G2 cyber-jet?

6) DVD then has some Beast Wars/ Beast Wars ][ ? (not familiar with it). Followed by a WARNING page (copyright warning maybe?)

7) Played with DVD Convoy (metallic paint) and Jetfire so far. Easy transformation modes, reminicent of G1 style ease of transformation. Meant for kids to follow easily. Convoy has missile launchers that are spring loaded, Jetfire has missile but no springs to launch.
