Subject: How to fill in Robot Masters Survey Cards
In reply to: Goktimus Prime 's message, "How to fill in Binaltech Survey Cards" on 30/07/04 23:56:54 GMT+10

STEP ONE: The Address

The front of the card is self-addressed and postage
paid... for domestic mail, so you'll need to chuck
this into an envelope and send it Air Mail. It won't
cost you much.

The front of the card has the address to send it to.
Unless you feel confident in writing Japanese, I
recommend printing the following text out and clipping
and pasting it onto the front of the envelope:

>JAPAN §125-8701
“Œ‹ž“sŠ‹ü‹æ
ÂŒË4-19-16
Š”Ž®‰ïŽÐƒ^ƒJƒ‰
ƒƒ{ƒbƒgƒ}ƒXƒ^[ƒYŒWs

STEP TWO: Filling In Your Personal Details

On the lower half of the front side, you'll see a
table. This is for your personal information - it's
part of Takara's market research, so they can obtain
demographic information about their customers. You all
know how it goes.

The first box is for your address and phone number. It
will have this written on the top left: ‚²ZŠ
and seven squares for the post code (because Japanese
post codes have seven digits). I recommend simply
using the last four squares for your own Australian
post code. Write your address in the empty space
below. Remember to write "Australia" at the end. At
the top of this same square, you'll see a little
symbol that looks like a telephone. This is where you
write your phone number. Don't forget to include
country code and drop out the 0 from your area code.
For example, if Pizza the Hut in NSW filled this out,
his (or her) number would be +61-2-9481-1111.

The next square with "‚¨–¼‘O" in the top left
corner is where you right your name. The next square
directly below this has «•Ê and gives you two
options:’jE— - this is where you circle your
sex. ’j for MALE and for FEMALE.
Directly next to this is another small section
labelled ”N—î and there is a blank square with
the word Ë aligned to the right. This is where
you write your current age just before Ë
(which is Japanese for "years old").

The middle-right section is labelled
•ÛŒìŽÒ‚Ì
‚¨–¼‘O
This is asking for the name of a legal guardian (since Robot Masters are mainly aimed at children)
There are two smaller squares below this. The first one is labelled
‘±
•¿
and requires you to enter the relationship of your legal guardian (e.g.: mother). The next one along is labelled
”N
—î
and this is where you enter the age of said legal guardian.

Directly beneath this square is another one labelled
‚¨‹‚ß‚É‚È‚Á‚½“ú, which is where you fill in
the date of when you purchased/received your Robot Master
and the date should be written as yyyy”NmmŒŽdd“ú

The last square, labelled
‚¨”ƒ‚¢ã‚°
“X@@@@–¼
is where you tell Takara where you
got your Robot Master from. There are sixteen choices -
circle the number of the corresponding answer. The
choices are:
(1) Toys 'R Us (2) Itoyokado (3) Daiei (4) Ion/Jusco
