Does it really matter how many figs you have, custom or not?? If you are happy with what you have, be it a repainted cheetor, made to look like a tigatron, or Scourge repainted as a fan-made Laser Prime, then good for you. Personally, if you're collecting to beat another person's collection count then you ain't a fan but a complete dick since its obvious that you're spending money to just to show everyone else what a big dick you have (figure of speech). I may never get every TF ever made (nor do I intend to), but I'm more than happy with what I have, and if I'm happy then there's nothing anyone can do take that away from me. Actually, taking Tigatron as an example, he wasn't released locally, so if a fan decides to repaint their spare cheetor to Tigatron's spec, then that can't be considered lame at all, since the fan obviously wants a Tigatron toy but can't get a "real" one due to availablity reasons and/or cost reasons. I'd see the person as more of a fan in fact as it shows how dedicated he is to get a figure of a character he/she likes. Sounds to me, this entire thread is based more upon collection counts that repaints to me. Look back and read all the corresponding threads carefully and you'll see what I mean.
