Yep, Gelshark is indeed D-05. And there will be another faction reference in a later ep, too. If you don't want it spoiled(i.e, for those who like little surprises like this), don't read down...

Ok, next to last ep, I beleive, Galvatron ends up describing the lot of Autobots as "Insecticons". Not much, but a neat touch :)
