*sigh* Anyway, I've used an online converter to recalculate those weights into regular kilogrammes.....

155 avoir. pounds = 70kg
144 troy pounds = 58kg

230 avoir. pounds = 104kg
230 troy pounds = 86kg

Bloody hell, I really don't see why the yanks can't just use kilogrammes like everyone else and make life easier.
And considering that the state of California alone has more money than the entire nation of France, I'm really not going to believe in the "we can't afford to" excuse (not that I ever did -- I mean, they're the richest country in the world and EVERYONE ELSE has been able to afford converting to the Metric System).

Uuuurrrgghh, people who use imperial measures should be newtered to protect the human gene pool. :P :P

Seriously though, the moderators on that board are just really slack and never bother to police anything, which is why so many flame wars seem to break out.

It's essentially become a testosterone filled, teen-angst, ADHD cesspool. (seriously, a LOT of those users are exhibiting classic ADHD behavioural symptoms)
