Q1 If your business is stock dependant e.g supermarkets you would use stock control methods, with something like stationery (non-perishable) its not so important, watch if you use Line 50, you will have to use Service Invoices.

Q2 Dennis (Help Desk) should send them call him, you need tax code letter.

Q3 I have gone to a fwe classes, they are free, but don't run through holidays (Mondays from 6'oclock)
