Once you have completed the course you need to sit two mock exams. One for the manual stuff and one for the computerised bit. I have done the manual one and feel fairly confident about it although I had to go back and check all my old notes for it. But with the computerised mock exam you get a quarters new transactions for a completely different company and they are set out slightly differently to the course work aswell. Basically the new company is upgrading from manual to computerised bookkeeping and you have to start a new financial year for them and there is a disk with all the brought down balances and previous years information but I don't know how to go about setting up the new company in sage. Surely you don't scrap all Bill Penn info? But we don't have a multi company option. Will need to phone tutor regarding this. Once we have completed the two mock exams and passed - you need 85% for manual and at least 60% for computerised - we then get the real exams from the ICB. Hope this helps you. How far into the course are you and how are you finding it?
