Now, THAT is a great idea!
I might suggest one small change, though. Instead of a "Japanese" category, that one might be changed to "imports only". The reason being is that there is a huge amount of American imports that are involved in the "import racing scene" also. Engine and suspension mods on most 4/6 cyl front wheel drive cars work the same reguardless of where the car was manufactured, i.e., turbocharging, handling packages and nitrous oxide injection.
An idea! What do you think about these two categories:
"Front wheel drive" and "Rear wheel drive"?
This might make the exchange of tips and ideas a bit easier for all of the users of each of the classes.
